  Nudibranchs

Nudibranchs only live weeks, months to about one year. This is their natural lifespan in the wild and in the aquarium if food sources are available. Survival really does depend on a good source of food. This includes sponges, some algae types, and hydroids. For example, the tiny Trinchesia sibogae just feeds exclusively on hydroids. In any case, plenty of healthy liverock should give them a good start.
